Build a workflow

Create workflows in Fous Studio. Each published operation has a reusable input and output contract that you can call from Studio, your code, or an AI agent.

Describe the task#

Choose Build, add the website, and describe the steps or data you need. Be specific about what should change between runs: a city, search term, date, product, or other input.

Fous explores the website, builds the operation, and tests it. Follow the progress in Studio and review the result when the build is ready.

Set access#

Choose whether the workflow is public or private. Public workflows can be discovered by other users; private workflows are available to your organization.

If the website requires sign-in, use a connected account. Keep credentials in connection settings rather than in a description or request input.

Test and reuse#

Open the workflow's playground, review its inputs, and run it with your own values. With Developer mode enabled, inspect the schema, operation name, and request examples.

Then choose how to use it:

• Ask in plain words and let the router select it.
• Call the operation directly for repeatable inputs.
• Connect an AI client to call it over MCP.

Published contract versions are immutable. Pin version in direct calls when your integration depends on a particular contract.

Build pricing#

Public builds are free. Building or updating a private workflow costs 100 credits ($1.00), settled when ready. Workflow runs are priced separately. See billing and receipts.
